Eating for health food consultation: 1 Month, 3 Months, and 6 Months

After reviewing your current eating habits in depth, a personalized plan of action will be created. The main focus is choosing food that is of high nutritional content and free of artificial and added chemicals. I do not believe in shocking the body with drastic changes and this process will be catered to the individual. The duration and speed of changes to diet will vary for each person. There will be cooking classes included in these consultations if the client so chooses.

Trip to grocery store:

How to read labels, understand nutrition facts and avoiding artificial colors/flavors. Choosing whole and natural foods over processed and preserved foods. There are lot of techniques the marketing agencies have cleverly implemented in order to trick you. Ingredients don’t lie however. A trained eye can pick a health food from an imposter very quickly. Grocery shopping will be transformed from a mindless activity into a mindful activity, by paying attention to the many different aspects of selecting the foods that will nourish your body.

Smoothie Making:

Only 13 percent of Americans get enough fruits and vegetables. Fruits and vegetables are vital for your intestines, your nutrition, and your ability to clear free radicals out of your body (free radicals have been linked to cancer). Smoothie making is probably the quickest and easiest way to incorporate fruits and veggies into your life. There is a lot to know, what to mix, what veggies can be added, what base to use, what order to put in for ease of blending, etc. The lists of supplements to add into smoothies to increase health benefits are extensive. Luckily, I have explored this through trial and error and through lots of research over many, many years.
