About Anjelica Shanklin

Anjelica Shanklin graduated from the University of Central Florida 2005 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences. She has practiced sports medicine, sports rehabilitation, and sports conditioning for Stetson University, Lyman High School, Palmer Natural Health, and Orlando Kraze, which is a member of the National Premier Soccer League.

Around four years ago she started to concentrate on conscience living by practicing mindfulness everyday. She had several great teachers that were able to impress upon her the importance of becoming aware of your inner dialog as well as becoming aware of your intention. She has also has followed a life long commitment of clean eating (eating for health, eating less processed food, consuming only foods with high nutritional yield, high plant based diet). With her combined areas of knowledge and experience she provides mind, body, and wellness coaching to individuals who seek healing and improvement of their overall health through diet, fitness, and mindfulness.

Pivot Holistic Health has a main focus of helping people eat naturally and consume foods that the human body was been designed to eat. Currently, Americans are ingesting so many preservatives, artificial colors and sweeteners. The American diet has swung to convenience food VS nutritious food and our nation’s health is seriously plummeting because of it. Instead we should be eating whole foods that have high nutrient yield, high fiber, and foods that are free of added chemicals. We must arm ourselves with knowledge if we want to sort out how to eat for optimum health.
